A Decade of Organic Skincare You Can Trust

Looking at this photograph takes me right back to where it all began.

Ten years ago, I stood behind this event stall in London with a handful of products I'd made myself, hoping that other women cared about ingredients as much as I did.

Looking back now, I realize I was creating something much bigger.

I was creating skincare women never have to question.

Like many women, I believed that buying "natural" skincare meant I was making a healthier choice.

Then my own skin began reacting to products I trusted.

The more I looked at ingredient lists, the more I realized that marketing often didn't tell the full story. Products described as natural still contained ingredients I wasn't comfortable using on my own skin.

Instead of continuing the search for something better, I decided to create it myself.

The very first face oil I made was never intended to become a business.

It was simply something I wanted to feel completely confident using every day.

That face oil would eventually become the foundation of Miss Organics.

More Than a Skincare Brand

At the time, I was also building my career in finance within the beauty industry.

Working behind the scenes gave me a unique perspective on how products were developed, marketed and sold.

It strengthened something I had already begun to believe.

Women deserved complete transparency about what they were putting on their skin instead of clever marketing and unpronounceable ingredient lists. Yet, thoughtfully formulated skincare made with carefully chosen ingredients was hard to find.

From London to Washington State

Over the past decade, a great deal has changed.

My family and I moved from London to Washington State, where I rebuilt Miss Organics from the ground up.

New suppliers. New regulations. New manufacturing. A new country.

Yet one thing remained exactly the same.

The face oil I originally created for my own dry, sensitive skin has gone on to become our bestselling product on this side of the Atlantic as well.

That has been incredibly special to witness.

But even more meaningful has been knowing that the reason people choose it today is the same reason I created it all those years ago.

The Promise Never Changed

Over the years, people have often asked me what makes Miss Organics different.

Looking back, I think the answer has always been the same.

I simply didn't have the words for it yet.

Today, I call it The Purity Standard™.
